Arch Manning reveals his leader after visits to Texas, Georgia, Clemson and Alabama
Just about every college football program in the country wants quarterback Arch Manning. But who does the five-star quarterback want?
No recruit is under a microscope like Arch Manning.
Every visit he takes is watched with bated breath. Everything he says and does is followed by recruiting buffs hoping to see if he’ll join their team.
Who has the edge right now for the No. 1 recruit in the class of 2023?
Which school leads in Arch Manning’s recruitment?
According to an interview Manning did with ESPN, no one leads for his signature just yet.
“I’m still wide open. I’m just enjoying the process,” Manning said “It’s cool to get to go visit some of the best schools in the country.”
There are hints based on Manning’s official visits. He’s already been to Georgia, Alabama, Clemson and Texas. His visit to Ole Miss on Saturday coincides with the Rebels retiring the jersey of his uncle Eli Manning.
Texas is believed to have an edge according to recruiting insiders due to his relationship with Longhorns head coach Stever Sarkisian. However, Manning had a front-row seat for their collapse against Oklahoma State last weekend.
The stakes are high for the teams recruiting Manning and the quarterback himself. He has to decide which program fits him best with the eyes of the college football world bearing down on him.
The pressure is immense and there is still a lot of time to go. Expect a decision from Manning around the summer or early fall.
