David Pollack isn’t buying a quarterback controversy for Georgia football. The guy for the Bulldogs has already made himself clear.

The Georgia Bulldogs are ready to move forward this season with a two-quarterback system featuring Stetson Bennett and JT Daniels.

ESPN’s David Pollack is not on board with that idea.

David Pollack says Stetson Bennett is Georgia football’s rightful starter, not JT Daniels

During College Football Live, Pollack cast his vote for Bennett as the unquestioned starter for the Bulldogs.

“There’s no controversy, Stetson Bennett is the quarterback and there’s nothing else to be said,” Pollack said. “He’s super, super-efficient. You see the touch on the balls. His play-action passes have been absolutely brilliant, one of the best in the country. Besides that, he’s an elite athlete and he can run the football too.

“I don’t think there’s a debate when it comes to the quarterback spot. I think JT will come back and provide some really, really good depth. But Stetson Bennett is a baller. I know he’s not the five-star shiny tool that everybody likes to see…the dude’s efficient, he’s good with the football and he’s improved a lot from last year with his decision-making and he’s a really good athlete. I don’t know what else you want from your quarterback.”

This is all a question because Daniels has struggled with injuries for much of the season. Bennett has kept the Bulldog offense moving in his absence.

Now that Daniels is healthy, Kirby Smart has an impossible decision to make. Go with the guy who won the starting job coming out of Fall Camp? Or go with the guy who has put Ws on the board in the fall?

Pollack may be ready to call it for Bennett but Smart is going to try to get the best of both worlds with a two-QB system.
