The Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers try to start out the season with a win against a contender on Saturday night.
The Heat blew out the defending NBA Champion Milwaukee Bucks by the final score of 137-95 on their opening night, so it’s safe to say expectations are high for them heading into Saturday’s matchup against the Indiana Pacers.
Miami returns Jimmy Butler as their centerpiece, who now stars in a backcourt along with Kyle Lowry. Add in Duncan Robinson, P.J. Tucker and Bam Adebayo, and you can see why the Heat are favored to make another deep playoff run in the East.
The Pacers, meanwhile, haven’t gotten as lucky. Indiana is 0-2 to start the season, with losses to both the Hornets and Wizards. It doesn’t help that both Caris LeVert and T.J. Warren are injured to start the year.
