The Ole Miss Rebels will be wearing their powder blue jerseys against LSU as a clear jab at Tigers head coach Ed Orgeron.
Ed Orgeron’s journey with LSU is going to come to an end at the conclusion of the 2021 season so opposing schools have to get their trolling in while they can.
Considering Orgeron’s history with Ole Miss and head coach Lane Kiffin, the digs had to be extra on point.
How far did the Rebels take it? They pretty clearly selected their uniform combination for this week with Orgeron in mind.
We love that sissy blue.

Ole Miss is trolling Ed Orgeron by wearing “sissy blue” vs. LSU
In case you forgot, Orgeron made headlines ahead of LSU’s game against UCLA by taunting a fan over their “sissy blue shirt.” Of course, it didn’t turn out so well for Orgeron in Los Angeles as his Tigers lost to the Bruins in their powder blue.
Since powder blue is also an Ole Miss staple, Kiffin immediately took to using the phrase as well.
There was no way the Rebels were going to take the field against Orgeron this year in anything other than their “sissy blue” jerseys.
