ESPN has finally unveiled where College GameDay will be headed for Week 9 of the 2021 college football season.

Big Ten fans should be ready for a huge game and a huge crowd this week as College GameDay will be headed to East Lansing, Michigan as the No. 8 Michigan State Spartans welcome the No. 6 Michigan Wolverines to town.

The annual rivalry meeting will have everyone’s attention as it features two phenomenal teams, and it’s right that College GameDay shows up for the occasions to promote the contest. Given that this is the premier pregame show for college football, it’s right that it’ll be on site for what could be one of the best games of the year.

College GameDay will be in East Lansing for the meeting between Michigan and Michigan State

It’s good that College GameDay will be in East Lansing this week given how the crew missed out on another highly ranked matchup between two Big Ten teams earlier in the year.

The Spartans and Wolverines are both unbeaten at 7-0 and both are ranked in the AP poll top 10. Both programs are looking to break through in the Big Ten and make it to the College Football Playoffs this season. At least right now, it seems like that goal isn’t actually too lofty for either team.

FOX Big Noon Kickoff will join College GameDay for the Michigan State-Michigan game

East Lansing is the unofficial capital of college football this weekend, with all due respect to Jacksonville, Florida which is the site for the annual rivalry game between Florida and No. 1 Georgia. GameDay will be joined by rival FOX and their Big Noon Kickoff show with Rob Stone, Brady Quinn, Reggie Bush, Matt Leinart and Bob Stoops.

FOX will broadcast the game that starts at 12:00 p.m. ET with Gus Johnson and Joel Klatt on the call with Jenny Taft working the sidelines.
