1. Noah Igbinoghene for L.J. Collier

Noah Igbinoghene has fallen out of the Dolphins’ lineup. He has been a healthy scratch for most of the season.

Igbinoghene was a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. Although he has not been fantastic for the Dolphins on the field, there are plenty of reasons to be optimistic. He is only 21-years-old, and he has played a total of only 353 defensive snaps in his career. His development is only beginning.

The Seahawks are thin at cornerback. Sidney Jones is one of the starters, and he has a PFF coverage grade of 47.0 (118th of 120 qualifying cornerbacks).

Igbinoghene could help the Seahawks immediately, and hopefully, he can develop into a long-term starter.

L.J. Collier finds himself in a similar situation with the Seahawks. He was a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and like Igbinoghene, Collier has also been a healthy scratch throughout the season. The Dolphins have 12 sacks this season, which is 26th in the NFL. So, they could be interested in adding another edge rusher.

Swapping Igbinoghene and Collier puts both former first-round picks in better situations, where they could potentially both have more opportunities to develop on the field.
