4. Run game will struggle against Washington

When looking at Washington’s defense, they have struggled to stop anyone throughout their first seven games of the season. Yet, the Football Team did have a solid game against the Green Bay Packers. To be specific, they were great at stopping the running game.

Aaron Jones, Green Bay’s star running back who received a four-year contract this past offseason, could not get anything going against Washington’s front seven. Jones only carried the ball six times, picking up a grand total of 19 yards. Overall, the Packers picked up 57 yards on 15 carries.

Denver probably won’t have a good time facing Washington’s rush defense. Last week, the Broncos picked up 41 yards on the ground on 14 attempts against Cleveland. Given that, and what the Packers were unable do last week, Washington should make Denver’s run attack a non-factor.
