Green Bay Packers: Dolphins’ G Solomon Kindley

Solomon Kindley, after being drafted in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, has had a quick fall from grace. After starting 13 games last season, he has been demoted to second, and sometimes even third string on the team. This had a lot of Dolphins’ fans shaking their heads, as Kindley played serviceably in his one year as the starting right guard.

The Green Bay Packers’ roster is stacked, but adding competition for rookie guard Royce Newman may be beneficial to their long-term success. Newman has been replacement-level at guard so far in his rookie season.

The Dolphins seem to have no desire to retain Kindley on their team, so it’s likely they’d be open to a cheap deal for him. If the Packers can acquire a starting-caliber right guard at the deadline, it’ll be a huge win.
