Washington Football Team: Dolphins’ QB Tua Tagovailoa

Instant collateral of the Dolphins trading for Deshaun Watson would be the decision they make about Tua Tagovailoa. Although in recent days, members of the Dolphins organization have publicly denied any Watson rumors and supported Tagovailoa, there’s still a chance that Watson gets dealt to Miami.

Since Watson-to-Miami trade talks have been heating up, some reports have linked Tagovailoa to the Football Team to become their new franchise quarterback. Regardless of the speculation, what would Tagovailoa mean for the Football Team?

It would finally give them a potential franchise quarterback that the team has been searching for. Ryan Fitzpatrick was an obvious stop-gap quarterback, and Taylor Heinicke hasn’t shown enough to be the starter moving forward. Tagovailoa has shown more than enough in Miami to make the Football Team excited about making him their starting quarterback of the future.

Things could heat up in the coming days, but the rumors of Watson-to-Miami are not slowing down. Washington acquiring Tagovailoa would instantly make them better and he’d already have elite weapons in Terry McLaurin and Antonio Gibson.
