Buffalo Bills: Raiders’ RB Kenyan Drake

Kenyan Drake is the league’s highest-paid backup after signing a two-year, $14.5 million deal with the Raiders in the offseason. In his limited time playing in relief of Josh Jacobs, he’s looked like he still deserves to be a starter in this league. The Raiders signed him to be a passing-game complement to Jacobs, and in Arizona, he was a reliable back in the passing game as well.

The Buffalo Bills have two running backs in Zack Moss and Devin Singletary, and neither of them can separate from each other to become what Buffalo really needs in their offense. Face it, Buffalo is a pass-first team and Josh Allen is also probably their best rusher. Drake would provide the true, dual-threat back that the Bills have been searching for to compliment Allen.

Drake was a Jon Gruden signing, so the newly-thinking Raiders staff may want to move on and continue to feature Jacobs as the three-down back they drafted him to be. This move makes a lot of sense for both sides.
