Steelers-Browns and Titans-Colts are among the top Week 8 matchups but what games will be available in your area?

The bye week of doom is over and it is a blessing for football fans who were subjected to an awful slate of games in Week 7. The action isn’t that much better in Week 8 but there are 15 games this week instead of 13, offering more of a chance that a matchup like Steelers-Browns produces some excellent theater.

What action will be available in your area and who will be on the call for each game? Check out this week’s NFL TV coverage maps, courtesy of 506 Sports, to find out.

NFL Week 8 TV coverage maps

Thursday, Oct. 27

Thursday Night Football (FOX/NFL Network)

Green Bay Packers (6-1) at Arizona Cardinals (7-0): Joe Buck, Troy Aikman

The unquestioned best game of the week comes on Thursday Night Football as the Packers try to take down the undefeated Cardinals without their top two wide receivers after Davante Adams and Allen Lazard landed on the COVID list this week. Joe Buck and Troy Aikman are on the call for this marquee matchup.

Sunday, Oct. 31

CBS (Singleheader)

Pittsburgh Steelers (3-3) at Cleveland Browns (4-3) (Red): Jim Nantz, Tony Romo

Cincinnati Bengals (5-2) at New York Jets (1-5) (Green): Kevin Harlan, Trent Green

Miami Dolphins (1-6) at Buffalo Bills (4-2) (Orange): Andrew Catalon, James Lofton

Tennessee Titans (5-2) at Indianapolis Colts (3-4) (Light Blue): Spero Dedes, Jay Feely

New England Patriots (3-4) at Los Angeles Chargers (4-2) (Dark Blue, 4:05 p.m.): Ian Eagle, Charles Davis

Jacksonville Jaguars (1-5) at Seattle Seahawks (2-5) (Yellow, 4:05 p.m.): Greg Gumbel, Adam Archuleta

CBS has the singleheader this week and will send most of the country the Steelers-Browns matchup in the early window. Other games at 1:00 include the Dolphins (amid the Deshaun Watson rumors) taking on the Bills as well as a pivotal AFC South matchup between the Titans and Colts. The best 4:05 game on CBS’ ledger is the Patriots heading west to take on the 4-2 Chargers.

FOX (Early Window)

San Francisco 49ers (2-4) at Chicago Bears (3-4) (Red): Adam Amin, Greg Olsen

Philadelphia Eagles (2-5) at Detroit Lions (0-7) (Blue): Kenny Albert, Jonathan Vilma

Carolina Panthers (3-4) at Atlanta Falcons (3-3) (Green): Kevin Kugler, Mark Sanchez

Los Angeles Rams (6-1) at Houston Texans (1-6) (Yellow): Chris Myers, Daryl Johnston

FOX’s early window is full of brutal games, with the best of the bunch being 49ers-Bears, which will go to the vast majority of the country. NFC South country will get Panthers-Falcons while the other two games are primarily regional.

FOX (Late Window)

Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-1) at New Orleans Saints (4-2) (Red): Joe Davis, Troy Aikman

Washington Football Team (2-5) at Denver Broncos (3-4) (Blue): Brandon Gaudin, Mark Schlereth

FOX’s top doubleheader game is an NFC South showdown featuring Tom Brady and the Buccaneers taking on the New Orleans Saints at the Superdome. Joe Davis will fill in for Joe Buck on the call since Buck may have to call Game 5 of the World Series in Atlanta on Sunday night.

Sunday Night Football (NBC)

Dallas Cowboys (5-1) at Minnesota Vikings (3-3): Al Michaels, Cris Collinsworth

NBC has a good alternative to the World Series as the Dallas Cowboys look to improve to 6-1 against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday Night Football. Al Michaels and Cris Collinsworth are on the call for this pivotal NFC matchup.

Monday, Nov. 1

Monday Night Football (ESPN)

New York Giants (2-5) at Kansas City Chiefs (3-4): Steve Levy, Brian Griese, Louis Riddick

This week’s Monday Night matchup features the Chiefs in need of a big win taking on the 2-5 Giants. The Manningcast should be a highlight as Eli Manning will have the opportunity to weigh in on his former team for the first time.
