4. Saints wideouts do damage against Buccaneers depleted secondary

The Saints had a favorable matchup on Monday night, as they faced a Seahawks defense that ranks near the bottom of the league against the run and the pass. Yet, New Orlean’s wide receiver corps could not really do much in the Seattle rain, as they caught 19 passes for 222 yards and a touchdown on 32 targets. 10 of those receptions and 128 of those yards came from Kamara.

Yes, New Orleans is desperately missing No. 1 wideout Michael Thomas, who remains on the physically unable to perform list. But, they can still be able to put up some strong numbers against Tampa Bay.

This year, the Buccaneers have surrendered 277.1 receiving yards per game, which ranks 12th-most in the NFL. Not to mention, Tampa Bay is dealing with a ton of injuries on their cornerback depth chart. Carlton Davis III and Sean Murphy-Bunting are currently on the injured reserve, while Richard Sherman is out with a hamstring injury.

The time is now for the wide receiver corps to give Winston some help. In Week 8, they will be responsible for three touchdowns.
