Braves fans let Jose Altuve have it with loud ‘cheater’ chant in Game 3 (Video)
Braves fans at Game 3 of the World Series took their opportunity to jeer Astros second baseman Jose Altuve with a “cheater” chant.
If you thought the Astros would make it out of the World Series without the crowd at Truist Park deriding them for their cheating scandal, you thought wrong.
At the first opportunity, Braves fans went after Jose Altuve with a chant of “cheater” as he came up to bat leadoff.

There can be no mistaking that one. The fans let him have it for his role in the Astros sign stealing scheme. He has denied wearing a buzzer to receive the stolen signs but reports suggesting he took part in that way turned him into one of the bigger villains of the scandal.
Ever since MLB opted not to punish players for the sign stealing, MLB fans across the country have taken it upon themselves to make sure some sort of retribution is had. The most they can do at this point is chant and jeer, but it’s clear the cheating is not going to be forgotten any time soon.
