Preston Smith delivered a special message for Packers haters out there
The confidence is riding high for the Green Bay Packers after the team took down the Arizona Cardinals on Thursday.
How about them Packers? Entering the Thursday Night Football showdown with the Arizona Cardinals, few people thought Aaron Rodgers would be able to lead the team to a victory with Davante Adams and Allen Lazard out of action.
Well, the Packers fooled everyone, recording a thrilling 24-21 win. The defense for Green Bay really stepped up, of course highlighted by Rasul Douglas’ game-sealing interception. For linebacker Preston Smith, the victory was made so much more sweet with folks doubting his team. He made that much clear with a special postgame tweet.

Preston Smith is tired of people doubting the Green Bay Packers
Smith really does have a point. Green Bay somehow continues to be overlooked as Super Bowl contenders despite winning seven straight games. People continue to blast Rodgers and Co. for the season-opening loss to the New Orleans Saints.
The Packers haven’t lost since then, though, and Rodgers is looking like an MVP again. He was terrific in the win over Arizona. The fact that Green Bay beat the Cardinals without Adams, Lazard and defensive coordinator Joe Barry is simply insane.
Now, the team will head back to Green Bay and get themselves ready for a monster Week 9 showdown on the road going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. Rodgers vs. Patrick Mahomes? That will be must-see television.
Entering that showdown, Green Bay figures to be an underdog as the visiting side. That won’t matter to Smith or his teammates. The Packers will be ready to ignore the outside noise and keep proving that they’re the real deal. The Green Bay faithful can’t wait to see what will happen next week and beyond.
