16. UTSA Roadrunners

With the bye week in the fold for the Roadrunners, UTSA had a chance to rest up as it gets ready for the stretch. At 8-0, the Roadrunners are eyeing an at-large bid for a major bowl game. How’s an undefeated season with a New Year’s six trip sound?

To get there, UTSA has to take down UTEP, Southern Miss, UAB, and North Texas. The Miners and UAB are right behind them in the Conference USA standings. Those will be the biggest tests remaining for the Roadrunners.

15. Ole Miss Rebels

It was a tough night for the Rebels on the road at Auburn. Matt Corrall was missing pieces around him and had to battle through some ankle issues. Ole Miss tried its best in a tough environment against the Bo Nix Show but came up on the losing end.

It’s just the second loss of the season for the Rebels so they shouldn’t suffer the steepest drop or out of the rankings. The hope for the Rebels is to get some health and to get back on the horse against Liberty.
