Jaron Ennis told FanSided before his bout with Thomas Dulorme that he would get the KO. He did just that, finishing off Dulorme in round 1.

Jaron Ennis had people talking about his potential before his Oct. 30 bout against Thomas Dulorme, but they might be calling him the welterweight GOAT after his performance on Showtime.

Ennis (28-0, 26 KOs) collected the eleventh first-round knockout victory of his boxing career. Dulorme never stood much of a chance.

A little over the first minute of round 1, Ennis caught Dulorme with a right hand. Dulorme was badly hurt but got to his feet. His feet were gone, and Ennis came in to close out the show.

Jaron Ennis showed out at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino by stopping Thomas Dulorme in round 1

Ennis switched to southpaw and did get tagged by a Dulorme right hand but returned fire. He dropped Dulorme with a straight left, which rendered Dulorme unable to stand up straight.

Dulorme (25-6-1, 16 KOs) tried to beat the count, but couldn’t, giving Ennis the round 1 KO. Dulorme had multiple losses on his record but none as ugly as this one. Ennis told FanSided before the fight that he would get the KO.

Ennis looks like the titan of the welterweight division. Terence Crawford, Errol Spence Jr., and Yordenis Ugas are the division champions, but Ennis might be the best boxer in the division.
