The Ole Miss Rebels looked to go 7-1 on Saturday with a win over the Auburn Tigers.

The Auburn Tigers entered Saturday night looking to earn their seventh win of the 2021 season. They would have to do so at Jordan-Hare Stadium at the expense of the Auburn Tigers.

One of the players prominently featured for Ole Miss was sophomore tight end Casey Kelly. But does he bare relation to former Rebels quarterback Chad Kelly?

Is Casey Kelly related to Chad Kelly?

Yes, the sophomore tight end is the younger brother of Chad, as confirmed in his official Ole Miss biography page.

Kelly played for Ole Miss from 2015 until 2016 after being dismissed from Clemson for conduct detrimental to the team in 2013. In his two seasons under center with the Rebels, Kelly completed 64.0-percent of his passes for 6,800 yards, 50 touchdowns and 21 interceptions.

Entering Saturday’s game, Kelly recorded five catches for 39 yards and a touchdown this season. Last year, Kelly caught eight passes for 115 yards and one touchdown.
