The Denver Broncos increased their number of 2022 draft picks to 10 after trading linebacker Von Miller to the Los Angeles Rams.

Broncos fans have to say goodbye to Von Miller after he was traded to the Rams but they can look forward to the future with a slew of draft picks coming up.

The 2022 NFL draft should be a big one for Denver. They will have 10 picks to spend after picking up two more Day 2 selections from the Rams in the trade.

Broncos draft picks for 2022 after Von Miller trade

Round 1: Original pick
Round 2: Original pick + Rams pick
Round 3: Original pick + Rams pick
Round 4: Original pick
Round 5: Original pick + Lions pick
Round 6: None
Round 7: Lions pick + 49ers pick

The Broncos have all but two of their original draft picks for 2022. They traded a 2022 sixth-rounder and 2023 seventh-rounder to San Francisco for linebacker Jonas Griffith. Denver grabbed a seventh-rounder for this coming draft in that deal as well.

Their seventh-round choice is in the hands of the Vikings as part of the deal for defensive end Stephen Weatherly, but the Broncos will have an extra seventh-rounder in 2023 as part of that one.

Finally, Denver picked up fifth- and seventh-round selections from the Lions for Trinity Benson while sending a 2023 sixth-rounder to Detroit.

Tally that all up and you’ve got 10 total picks, including five selections in the first two days.

There should be lots of talent to go after with those draft picks. It all comes down to how well the Broncos draft using these selections.
