The Steelers secondary will have multiple interceptions

It has been a quiet year for the Pittsburgh secondary. The Steelers have just four interceptions on the season, and Minkah Fitzpatrick is still without a takeaway through seven games. That said, this is the game where they will take over.

The Steelers pass rush is going to be a constant nuisance to Fields. He is going to make rookie mistakes in those situations. Whether it’s forcing balls into tight windows or getting trigger happy because he feels the rush, Pittsburgh’s defensive backs will have their chances to make plays. Watch out for Fitzpatrick, but also Terrell Edmunds and Cam Sutton. Edmunds has been arguably the Steelers best player in the secondary throughout the season, and Cam Sutton has come into his own at the CB2 spot. Rookie Tre Norwood could also have his first NFL interception. Going up against a bad offense with a rookie quarterback, though, this feels like Fitzpatrick’s game. We have been calling for it all season. Monday will be the night he finally takes over.

Regardless of who it is, the Steelers defensive backs will be all over the place, ensuring it will be a long night for Fields and the Bears.
