4. The Browns defense will hold the Bengals offense to under 30 points

After two bad showings vs. the Los Angeles Chargers and the Arizona Cardinals back in October, the Browns defense has really stepped up of late. They allowed 14 points to the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football. Though Cleveland lost at home to the Steelers, the Browns defense only allowed 15 points to be scored in that tight ball game. This trend will be continuing Sunday.

In the Browns’ four wins this season, they have held the opposition to 21 points or less. Interestingly enough, that 21-point total came against the struggling Houston Texans several weeks ago. Again, defensive dominance is the biggest indicator on if the Browns win a game or not. This side of the ball showed up big time last weekend, but the offense was sadly pedestrian.

Given that the Bengals can put up points in a hurry with their versatile and explosive offense, holding them to under 30 points will be paramount if the Browns want any hope of winning this road game. Though Cincinnati is the more likely of the two teams to win, given how their offenses have played recently, once again, it will be the Cleveland defense giving the Browns a chance.

Look for Cincinnati to score somewhere around 24 points on the Browns in Sunday’s big game.
