Is Davante Adams going to play this weekend?
Leading up to Sunday’s showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs, everyone wants to know if Davante Adams will suit up for the Green Bay Packers.
The Green Bay Packers were dealt quite the blow last week leading up to the showdown with the Arizona Cardinals after star wideout Davante Adams tested positive for COVID-19. It forced Adams to miss the Week 8 contest, but Aaron Rodgers and Co. were still able to get the job done without him.
Now, the Packers are getting ready for a massive showdown with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday. Will Adams be ready to rock for this one?
Is Davante Adams going to play?
Good news arrived for head coach Matt LaFleur on Thursday, as Adams was officially taken off the COVID-19 list. That means he’s all set to suit up and make plays for Green Bay’s offense going up against Kansas City.
Is Aaron Rodgers going to play?
Unfortunately for Adams and the rest of the Packers offense, Rodgers won’t be making the trip to Kansas City after he himself tested positive for COVID-19. According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, Rodgers has not been vaccinated for the Coronavirus, which means the earliest he can return to the team is on Nov. 13.
Aaron Rodgers immunized video caused plenty of confusion
Before the season got started, Rodgers was asked if he was vaccinated and he responded by saying, “Yeah, I’ve been immunized.” This made countless folks believe that he indeed had received his vaccination. We now know that’s not the case.
With Rodgers missing the game on Sunday, former first-round pick Jordan Love will make his first start for Green Bay. Luckily for him, Adams will be back in the fold ready to catch passes from him.
