The 5-3 Brooklyn Nets head to Detroit to take on the 1-7 Detroit Pistons at Little Caesars Arena on Friday, Nov. 5 at 7:00 pm ET.

On Halloween, the Brooklyn Nets hosted the Detroit Pistons for their first match of the NBA 2021-22 season. In that game, Brooklyn came away with a home victory with a 117-91 final score.

On Nov. 5, the Nets are set to play the Pistons once again, this time on Detroit’s home court at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

The 5-3 Nets are coming off a Wednesday night win over the Atlanta Hawks, which saw them scoring 117 to Atlanta’s 108.

Meanwhile, the Pistons are coming off their third straight loss, their most recent one being a 109-98 surrender to the Philadelphia 76ers.

Besides their win over the Orlando Magic, the Pistons have endured some of the Eastern Conference’s best teams early in the NBA season. Of their seven losses, four have come at the hands of the 76ers and the Chicago Bulls, which are two of the best teams in the league.

Ideally, a hometown performance debuting their new City Edition uniforms will give the boost this Pistons team desperately needs.

After an inconsistent start to the season, the Nets are building chemistry as they continue on a three-game win streak. Their last two games of 117 points are their highest-scoring games of the season, while the Pistons have scored under 100 in five of their eight games.

If their last matchup is any indication of how tonight will go, Kevin Durant is sure to be a force Detroit will be forced to reckon with. In their last outing, Durant scored 23 points on 10-of-13 shooting attempts before being ejected for elbowing Kelly Olynyk in the third quarter.

For fans who want to catch the Nets take on the Pistons, here are the best ways to watch their Nov. 5 game at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit, Michigan.

As if their records were not a clear indication of the betting favorite, their last matchup should be: the Nets are expected to win this one by a wide margin.

Last time, the Nets won by 26 points, which means that even without Kevin Durant’s 23-point contribution on the night, the Nets still would have won.

Considering the Pistons’ low-scoring season, the two teams together may not even make the over.
