6. Davis Mills at Miami

The Houston Texans are one of the worst teams in football, and they will likely finish with one of the top-3 picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. With Deshaun Watson likely done for the year, Davis Mills has assumed the starting quarterback job, and he has had some nice moments, including a 300-plus yard effort last week against the Los Angeles Rams.

Sure, the Texans were down 38-0 at one point, and they had to pass on nearly every play, but those kinds of losses can net your quarterback a ton of fantasy points late. This weekend, Houston takes on Miami, who is one of the worst teams in football too, so Mills could be in for another big day on the stat sheet.

5. Mike White at Indianapolis

The New York Jets took Zach Wilson with the No. 2 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft, and to most people’s surprise, did not put a veteran behind him. Given the starting job from Day 1, Wilson struggled, and eventually was injured, clearing the way for Mike White to start, and beat the Cincinnati Bengals in Week 8.

Well, White and the Jets could be in for another big day in Week 9, as they take on an Indianapolis Colts team that is not setting the world on fire. White plays with a ton of confidence, and has his Jets moving in the right direction, so do not be afraid to add him to your fantasy roster moving forward.
