After Week 10 of the 2021 college football season, which coaches and schools need to consider their future given how their teams played?

Another week of college football has come and gone and many college football fans are irate with the way their teams are being coached. From Gainesville, Florida to Lincoln, Nebraska, many folks are generally upset with how much their favorite college football team is struggling while their coach makes millions.

Now, there are several coaches who are in tough positions who deserve a little more time to prove themselves, but there are some coaches who are clearly underachieving.

Which coaches should be on the hot seat this week?

4. Eliah Drinkwitz – Missouri

The Missouri Tigers just hired Eliah Drinkwitz and he’s only been in Columbia for a short period of time, but things don’t look all that great under his leadership right now.

In all fairness, it’s too early to tell if Drinkwitz should be fired right this instant, but he’s done very little to get the Tigers going in the right direction. Mizzou’s defense is a mess and the Tigers’ offense hasn’t exactly looked all that great in recent weeks.

That’s generally a bad combination if you’re hoping to get your team a winning record.

While Missouri entered into the year with a few question marks, the general consensus was that this team would be able to make things interesting in the SEC East because they’d win more than they actually are.

That’s not happening right now.

Missouri fell to 4-5 after losing in humiliating fashion to the Georgia Bulldogs. Most teams would lose against Georgia, that’s just because the Bulldogs are probably the best team in the country this year, but the Tigers have looked rough for weeks and it all unraveled in Athens Saturday afternoon.

Drinkwitz is in his third season as a head coach and should get some more time to get things figured out, but he’ll need to figure things out fast.
