When did Navy last beat Notre Dame football?
Navy’s last win came back in 2016 by the narrow score of 28-27.
The game was a back-and-forth affair, but Will Worth helped lead the Midshipmen to victory after scoring a one-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter to pull them ahead 28-24. The Fighting Irish did cut their deficit to 28-27, but the Midshipmen iced the game with a 14-play drive.
Worth rushed for 175 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries while completing 5-for-8 pass attempts for 48 yards. Notre Dame quarterback DeShone Kizer threw for 223 yards and three touchdowns (19-for-27 on pass attempts).
