The Indiana Hoosiers look to earn two wins in a row against the Michigan Wolverines for the first time since 1959.

The Michigan Wolverines are reeling after they blew a 30-14 lead to the Michigan State Spartans to lose their very first games of the season last weekend. Even with the loss, their College Football Playoff hopes are far from dead. But those dreams can end if they are to lose to the Indiana Hoosiers this Saturday.

Indiana defeated Michigan handily 38-21 in 2020. But the real question is can they have their first winning streak over the Wolverines for the first time in more than 60 years?

When was the last time Indiana defeated Michigan two years in a row?

The last time Indiana handed Michigan an “L” in back-to-back years came in 1958-59.

The Hoosiers defeated the Wolverines by the extremely narrow score of 8-6 in 1958. The following year, they won 26-7.

When it comes to the series between the two schools, Michigan won 59 of 69 meetings, per Winsipedia. Prior to their win last year, the Hoosiers lost the previous 24 games to the Wolverines.
