Nebraska football head coach Scott Frost praised Adrian Martinez and JoJo Domann in his post-game press conference after losing to Ohio State.
Scott Frost’s Nebraska has lost seven games this season but his players have still given him plenty of reason to big them up.
On Saturday, the Cornhuskers lost their fourth in a row, falling to Ohio State, 26-17. All of their losses this year have been by single digits. This one was against a Top 5 team.
The head coach credited a couple of special players with playing through pain to give Nebraska a chance at the upset.
Scott Frost post-game interview revealed Adrian Martinez is battling through injuries
"Right now you're crazy if you don't think I'm playing the best guy (I can)," Frost said about QB.

Scott Frost saying Adrian Martinez has been dealing with a broken jaw and high ankle sprain. Wow. What an absolute warrior.

Martinez had a touchdown through the air and one on the ground. He’s played the last six games while recovering from a broken jaw and suffered an ankle sprain before the Minnesota game two weeks ago.
There was a defensive warrior on the field as well. Outside linebacker JoJo Domann played hurt but still managed to produce a handful of highlights, including an interception, an outstretched PBU and a key third down stop with an open field tackle.
Scott Frost press conference was emotional after clinching another losing season without a bowl
Frost said JoJo Domann was playing hurt today – an incredible performance, really. He'll have a decision to make about his status now with two games left and that injury combined with his pro ambitions.

Scott hopes the performance will lead to bigger things for the Huskers, though he may have to make do without Domann as the season winds down.
He felt confident Nebraska will respond to this one.
“This is going to pop at Nebraska,” Nebraska coach Scott Frost says.

He needs his players, fanbase and school officials to agree because the fact remains that the Cornhuskers are 3-7 and close losses to ranked teams won’t always move the needle.
