The South Carolina radio call of Jabari Ellis’ scoop and score against Florida on Saturday will pump up Gamecocks fans.

If South Carolina Gamecocks fans were looking for joy after a brutal 44-14 loss to Texas A&M last week, they certainly got it on Saturday when they faced off against the Florida Gators. The team had a great first half, that only got better after one single play.

With the Gamecocks are already up 23-10, Florida quarterback Emory Jones rolled right and tried to make a run for the first down. Instead, he was tackled from behind by edge rusher Aaron Sterling and lost the football. That allowed defensive lineman Jabari Ellis to scoop it up and run into the end zone to give South Carolina a 30-10 lead.

If Gamecocks fans wanted to run through a wall, just listen to the radio call.

South Carolina takes commanding lead over Florida

It must be pointed out that Florida once had a 7-3 lead in this game, but that has since disappeared.

South Carolina extended and did not look back after a two-yard touchdown run by Juju McDowell, a 24-yard touchdown pass from Jason Brown to Josh Vann, two field goals by Parker White and the scoop-and-score by Ellis.

South Carolina as having a good time on Saturday. The same can not be said for Florida and head coach Dan Mullen.
