Cowboys blocked punt goes horribly wrong in hilarious special teams disaster (Video)
By Mark Powell
The Dallas Cowboys blocked a punt against the Denver Broncos, but screwed it up all in one full swoop.
The Cowboys need something — literally, anything — to go their way against the Denver Broncos. But instead, even the seemingly positive plays are bouncing towards Denver.
On a blocked punt that could’ve helped momentum swing towards Dallas, for once on Sunday, the Cowboys muffed it. The Broncos were quickly able to recover what should’ve been Dallas’ ball on Denver’s side of the 50.

That’s an ugly play, to say the least. Rather than simply fall on the ball, the Cowboys special teamer let the football hit him in the facemask and deflect right back into the Broncos’ hands. Needless to say, it has not been an ideal day for the Cowboys.

In what seemed like an easy first game back for Dak Prescott after he missed the Cowboys Sunday night showdown with the Minnesota Vikings, Dallas has instead been relatively inept offensively.
Heck, I’ll say it. A Cooper Rush-led offense looked better than this.
Instead, Prescott is struggling in all facets, and if he’s unable to turn things around quickly, could be due for some tough questions postgame.
Namely — did he come back too soon?
