NFL reporter eviscerates Aaron Rodgers for saying he’s a ‘critical thinker’

CBS senior NFL reporter Jonathan Jones didn’t hold back in blasting Aaron Rodgers after the drama following him this week. 

Aaron Rodgers has gone from one of the most beloved athletes in the country to a guy who has countless haters right now. The standout Green Bay Packers signal-caller won’t be in action this weekend after testing positive for COVID-19.

This week, news broke that Rodgers is also unvaccinated and his explanation of things earlier this week has infuriated countless people. You can add CBS’ Jonathan Jones to the list. Jones gave his thoughts live on TV and he didn’t hold back in going after Rodgers.

Aaron Rodgers being unvaccinated could land the Packers in some trouble

As you can see in the video above, Jones called Rodgers out for his ‘critical thinker’ statement. While Rodgers has the right to have his own beliefs, a lot of people, including Jones, don’t like the way he’s handled things. Rodgers has also been seen at press conferences without a mask.

He was also without a mask at a halloween party. Per NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the league is currently investigating the Packers and a punishment could be on the way.

Over the weekend, Saturday Night Live also took a bit of a jab at Rodgers for what’s going on. Actor Pete Davidson stole the show in pretending he was Rodgers for the skit that took over social media.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, they’ll be taking on the Chiefs on Sunday without Rodgers. The earliest he can return due to NFL rules would be Nov. 13. Second-year QB Jordan Love will get the start for Matt LaFleur at Kansas City.
