NBA fans are counting down the minutes for the big-time showdown on Monday night between the Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks. 

The start to the season has gone incredibly well for the Philadelphia 76ers, as the team currently sits in first place of the Eastern Conference standings entering Monday’s tilt with the New York Knicks. Meanwhile for New York, they enter play with a 6-4 record and in seventh place out East.

Unfortunately for the 76ers, however, news broke on Monday that star big man Joel Embiid, who leads the team with his 21. 4 points per contest, has tested positive for COVID-19 and he’ll miss the action.

With Embiid out, will Philadelphia be able to take down New York at the Wells Fargo Center?
