Holmgren, a 7-footer with ball-handling skills and a nice outside shot, will be in the running for the No. 1 pick in the 2022 NBA Draft. Before that, he looks to help Gonzaga win the first national title in program history and cut the nets down in early April.
Jalen Suggs, Holmgren’s high school teammate, is in the NBA, but Wooden candidate Drew Timme returns as the leader of the squad and arguably the face of college basketball with his handlebar mustache.
