2. Dak Prescott will complete at least 70 percent of his throws

Prescott returned from injury last week and put in one of his worst performances as a professional. The Broncos’ defense harassed him from the opening whistle and Prescott was only able to complete 19 of his 39 pass attempts when all was said and done.

Dallas’ offensive staff will be determined to help their star quarterback be more efficient on Sunday. The Cowboys are going to work hard to run the ball against Atlanta but they’ll also give Prescott some easy throws early to help him build some momentum.

He isn’t going to throw the ball for a ton of yards in this one, but he will be hyper-efficient with the football. Completing 80 percent of his passes is possible, but the bold prediction here is just south of that by projecting him to complete over 70 percent of his throws.

The Falcons’ defensive staff needs to stay patient. They can’t get overly concerned with how many completions Prescott racks up. As long as they keep his yards per attempt total down they’ll hang in this game until the fourth quarter.
