AEW Rampage goes down from the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN on Friday, Nov. 12.

With just one AEW television event before this Saturday’s much anticipated Full Gear pay-per-view, the Target Center is the backdrop for a Friday night edition of AEW Rampage.

The event marks the first AEW appearance in the city of Minneapolis and will be the setting for AEW Full Gear on Saturday night.

Minneapolis was the mid-western headquarters for the American Wrestling Association, which was the home for territory wrestling across the northeast and mid-west from the late 1960’s up until 1991.

The AEW Full Gear pay-per-view will be the first non-WWE wrestling pay-per-view event held in the city in over twenty years. It will also be the first major wrestling event held at the Target Center since WWE Tables, Ladders, and Chairs in 2019.

AEW Rampage match card tonight, Nov. 12

• Orange Cassidy vs Matt Hardy (Lumberjack Match)
• Jungle Boy vs Bobby Fish

As of now, two matches have been announced for the Friday edition of AEW Rampage. Orange Cassidy will face Matt Hardy in a Lumberjack Match. The two have continued a feud that boiled over on Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite, which saw Cassidy attacked by Private Party during a segment. The two will face off on Friday in Minneapolis among a slew of Lumberjacks.

The second announced event on the card is an intriguing match-up between Jungle Boy and Bobby Fish. Fish attacked Jungle Boy on Wednesday’s edition of Dynamite and was shown on-screen with Adam Cole for the first time since he joined AEW. The two were a part of the very popular Undisputed Era stable during their time in NXT.

Fish has been instructed by Cole to take out Jungle Boy ahead of the six-man tag team match-up at Full Gear, which features Cole and the Young Bucks taking on Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus, and Christian Cage.
