College football best bets Week 11: 5 locks of the week including Purdue vs. Ohio State
Locking up our college football best bets for Week 11, including Purdue vs. Ohio State, Georgia vs. Tennessee and more against the spread.
Even last week when the slate of games was a tad underwhelming coming into Saturday, the excitement was still at an all-time high. Most notably, Purdue knocked off No. 3 Michigan State and South Carolina blasted Florida, the latter killing one of our college football best bets for the week.
That, however, was the only loss our college football best bets took last week as we went 4-1, putting us on an 8-2 heater over the past two slates coming into Week 11. We’re seeing the board well and we’re going to keep riding that high.
With that in mind, let’s get into locking up our best bets for college football Week 11, including several high-profile matchups throughout the country

College football best bets, locks for Week 11
5. Georgia (-20.0) at Tennessee
For whatever reason, people keep looking for reasons to doubt Georgia. This week, it’s that the sometimes-explosive Tennessee offense is hosting the Dawgs. You know when the Vols have struggled, though? When they’ve played above-average defenses, much less the best unit in the country. Georgia is going to dominate again and anyone backing Tennessee is going to look foolish when it’s all said and done.
4. Oklahoma (-5.5) at Baylor
It’s time for the Oklahoma Sooners prove-it tour over the final three weeks of the regular season and I think we see big things from Caleb Williams coming out of the off week for Lincoln Riley’s team. Baylor proved their susceptible to mobile quarterbacks in last week’s loss to TCU and I don’t see how the Sooners don’t just wax the Bears, even in Waco.

3. Michigan (-1.5) at Penn State
Sure, when Michigan and Penn State have played in recent years, home field has mattered. But it’s also not been that often when one team has clearly been superior, which Michigan is. Penn State can’t run the ball, so the Wolverines can pin their ears back and harass Sean Clifford all game long. That’s going to cause problems. Even if Michigan doesn’t score a ton, they should win by at least a field goal.
2. Boston College (+100 ML) at Georgia Tech
Phil Jurkovec came back last week and looked quite rusty but Boston College still took it to Virginia Tech. On the other side, the Yellow Jackets don’t deserve to be favorites — even by a small margin — in any game at this point, especially against a good Eagles team. Give me the moneyline for BC to get double the money back when they win this one on the road.
1. Purdue (+20.5) at Ohio State
Someone please tell me what games have happened in the 2021 season that justifies Ohio State being favored by almost three touchdowns against the No. 19-ranked team in the country? There isn’t one. The Buckeyes haven’t beaten a team above .500 this season by more than 14 points. That’s not changing, even in Columbus. And though it’s not a best bet, the +750 moneyline for Purdue is also enticing.
