College football rankings 2021: Projected Week 12 AP Top 25 after Oklahoma upset, Ohio State & Michigan notch big wins
12. Baylor Bears
The Bears got a big win by upsetting Oklahoma. Baylor also doomed the hopes of the Big 12 reaching the College Football Playoff, but it doesn’t care about that. The Bears are looking to claim a conference crown.
What will be worth looking to is seeing where the College Football Playoff ranks the Bears. Perhaps they get vaulted up way higher than expected. Right now, it’s good to be Baylor after the win.
11. Ole Miss Rebels
A great year for Ole Miss continues after defeating Texas A&M. The Rebels couldn’t beat Alabama this year, but they could beat the team that beat the Crimson Tide. Ole Miss had to work hard for points against a great Aggies defense but got what it needed.
Ole Miss gets Vanderbilt next, but then all eyes will be on the Egg Bowl. So much crazy stuff has unfolded in the annual Thanksgiving game over the years that it’s hard to predict what exactly will happen between the Rebs and Mississippi State.
