Gary Danielson drew the ire from Georgia and Tennessee football fans during their game.

The only thing that can unite Georgia and Tennessee football fans is a deep-rooted hatred of Gary Danielson in the CBS booth.

In the featured game of the late-afternoon window, No. 1 Georgia went into a very hostile environment up in Knoxville to face an on-the-rise Volunteers team. Though Georgia eventually asserted its dominance over the Vols, many viewers wished they had the game on mute, as Danielson was irritating both Georgia and Tennessee football fans throughout the TV broadcast.

Besides hating Florida, this is a rare moment where Dawgs and Vols can agree on something.

Tennessee fans believe Danielson is openly cheering for Georgia like he typically does when Alabama is playing in these high-profile CBS games.

Even if you don’t have much beef with Danielson, he will always find a way to say something that will make you cringe and wish you had the game on mute.

Ultimately, this is the type of broadcast SEC fans have grown accustomed to with Danielson in the booth. It does not matter if he is calling games next to Brad Nessler or with the iconic Verne Lundquist, Danielson has a reputation to uphold.

Eventually, the SEC will belong exclusively to Disney once CBS’ broadcasting rights expire. Until then, college football fans must prepare themselves for anything and everything that comes out of Danielson’s mouth. Not only does he love your favorite team’s rival, but he also simultaneously hates your favorite team with a fiery passion, no matter what teams play on CBS each weekend.

In a tale as old as time, Danielson will find a way to unite SEC fans for some live Twitter banter.
