The Miami radio call of the Hurricanes’ incredible tipped touchdown against Florida State takes the play to the next level.

The Florida State vs. Miami rivalry may not be at its pinnacle this year but the game is still capable of producing some wow moments.

In the second half at Doak Campbell Stadium, the Hurricanes found an unlikely way to score a much-needed touchdown thanks to a tip and a heads-up play.

On third-and-goal, Tyler Van Dyke had his pass tipped. It lopped over the head of two defenders and landed in the arms of tight end Will Mallory.

The play itself was awesome. The radio call of the play? Even better.

The touchdown put the Hurricanes within a score of their rivals in the third quarter. They had gone into halftime trailing 20-7, so it was the perfect result to get them back in the game.

When a play like that, sometimes it swings the momentum of a game drastically. It seems to have done it in this one as Miami scored another touchdown a few minutes later to take the lead at 21-20.

After falling down 17-0, Miami outscored FSU 21-3.

The Hurricanes have won four in a row over the Seminoles. A crazy touchdown could be the spark that got them to five.
