We’re on the stretch run to the playoffs in fantasy football, and there are some major running back decisions to make. Which sleeper RBs are going to be huge for players this week?

Fantasy players have made it to Week 10, and if you’re still reading this, it’s probably because you still at least have a chance to make the playoffs. Some teams have survived major injuries (including to the top three running backs in the league).

Others have done well to find the guys hidden earlier in the year that are now league winners (looking at you James Conner). The running back position has been a wild ride this season, and there are some decisions that might have fantasy football players looking for answers.

This week should provide a lot of those answers. Teams that are 4-5 or even 3-6 can either see the final nail in the coffin or they can get the key win to put them back in the race. Teams that are 6-3 could lose a game that really puts them in a bad position for playoff positioning. Fantasy football seasons are on the line this week. Which running backs could help players win?

10. Leonard Fournette – Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Leonard Fournette is low on the list not because he’s going to have a bad game, but because he has no chance of being added at this point in the season. He should be starting every week. Fournette had a really rough week against the New Orleans Saints. He only had 26 yards on the ground plus three receptions. This was an outlier matchup for the Bucs, as even Brady struggled with interceptions (although he still had a good fantasy day).

Fournette and the Bucs are taking on the Washington Football Team, one of the worst defenses in the league. They are famously bad against the pass, but there’s a sneaky reason to like Fournette in this matchup. Washington has allowed seven touchdowns to running backs through the air. That’s on top of five touchdowns on the ground. They might not allow a lot of yards on the ground, but they let them score a ton. That’s really all people want from running backs anyway.
