Green Bay Packers running back Aaron Jones suffered an apparent knee injury in the team’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Packers were already struggling to carve out a decent offensive showing against the Seattle Seahawks. Then, in the third quarter, one of the few bright spots for Green Bay went down with an injury.

Aaron Jones is hurt with an apparent knee issue. His status moving forward isn’t known at this time.

Jones not being able to get to the medical tent on his own isn’t a good sign. He had a significant limp coming off the field.

Tracy Wolfson said that Jones went to talk to his family after leaving the medical tent with ‘tears in his eyes’. Surely, that doesn’t sound promising.

Packers RB depth chart: Aaron Jones injured

With Jones injured, the Packers will turn to former Boston College running back A.J. Dillon. They drafted him quite high despite having Jones as their full-time running back, so we’ll get a chance to see what he’s made of.

Behind Dillon is Patrick Taylor, who should receive some action as well to give Dillon a break. Kylin Hill, who the Packers drafted this past year, is on injured reserve at the moment.

Aaron Jones injury update: How long will he be out?

The Packers seem to think Jones suffered a sprained MCL. We’ll see if that turns out to be true after he undergoes an MRI.

Sprained MCL recovery time

MCL sprains can take up to six weeks to heal from. Given the Packers medical staff, and the fact that Jones is a professional athlete, he could be back even sooner.
