Chiefs rookie TE shotguns football to celebrate first NFL touchdown (Video)

Kansas City Chiefs rookie tight end Noah Gray had the perfect way to celebrate his first NFL touchdown by shotgunning the football.

It doesn’t matter how it comes, a player’s first NFL touchdown is bound to be memorable.

The only way to make it even better? To have an awesome celebration queued up for when it comes.

So credit to Chiefs tight end Noah Gray for the outstanding TD celebration he pulled out of the bag on Sunday against the Raiders.

Either Gray has practiced that celebration or he knew exactly what he’d do the moment that ball touched his hands. He absolutely rocked it.

Gray’s touchdown on fourth down made it 24-14 in favor of Kansas City. It was definitely worth celebrating.

The Chiefs selected Gray out of Duke in the fifth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. He’s appeared in every game so far this season, though much of his participation has come on special teams. He made his first career catch against the Chargers in Week 3 and added another catch against the Titans in Week 7.

The rookie has officially made his mark on the season but he and fans in KC will hope that was the first of many. The fact that the first one came in a critical game against an AFC West rival bodes pretty well for his future with the team.
