Patrick Mahomes won’t be sacked

The Chiefs had to turn to Andrew Wylie to fill the right tackle spot on the offensive line against the Raiders because of injuries to Lucas Niang and Mike Remmers.

All things considered, Wylie held his own as the line gave up zero sacks for the first time since Week 2 against the Raiders.

Since Remmers was put on injured reserve, he won’t be back this week. Niang’s status is unknown. That means Wylie might have to stand in again.

The Cowboys have had 18 sacks this year, ranking 25th in the NFL. While they are averaging two sacks per game, in truth, they’ve mostly come in bunches against bad fronts. Half of their sacks were in two games against the Panthers and the Broncos.

Patrick Mahomes looked like he got his groove back against the Raiders. He managed the pocket beautifully and escaped when he needed to.

The quarterback and his offensive line will make sure his jersey stays clean in this one.
