Chiefs and Cowboys will go under the total

After the Chiefs and Cowboys both put up more than 40 points on their last opponents, you might be tempted to assume this will be a high-scoring shootout.

These are two offenses with very high ceilings, so the possibility of a 40-40 game can’t be ruled out.

WynnBet has the over/under for the matchup at 56 points. The Cowboys average 31.6 points per game while the Chiefs average 26.2 and that average should continue to rise this season. It’s easy to see where the 56-point figure comes from.

Still, there is something about two high-powered offenses going against each other that seems to wake up defenses. Kansas City’s defense is certainly starting to come together. They’ve given up 17 or less in each of their last three games.

Patrick Mahomes and Dak Prescott will have their moments. There will be flashes from the playmakers.

Just don’t be surprised when both sides are a bit cagey.
