FanDuel NFL 2021: Best lineup for Week 11
Wide Receivers
Justin Jefferson, Minnesota Vikings vs. Green Bay Packers-$7,900
After getting just nine targets over the previous two games, an obvious mandate to feed Jefferson bore great fruit in Week 10 against the Chargers (nine catches for 143 yards on 11 targets). The Green Bay Packers have been one of the best defenses in the league lately, and even moreso against wide receivers, but don’t let that scare you off Jefferson.
If Jefferson doesn’t get 8-10 targets on Sunday, it’ll be malpractive by Kirk Cousins and Vikings offensive coordinator Klint Kubiak. You wouldn’t bench the second-year star in a season-long leauge, and at $7,900 he’s actually a value on FanDuel this week .
Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers at Jacksonville Jaguars-$7,600
A Samuel skeptic like me is buying in this week. In Week 10 against the Los Angeles Rams, the 49ers’ best offensive player had five catches for 97 yards and a touchdown while mixing in five carries for 36 yards and rushing touchdown. Before that, as a nod to San Francisco leading in Week 10 reducing his target volume, he had at least eight targets in each of his first eight games this season.
In Week 11 Samuel gets the Jacksonville Jaguars, who are in the bottom-12 of the league against wide receivers while allowing the 10th-most receiving yards to the position (1,640; 182.2 per game).
Elijah Moore, New York Jets vs. Miami Dolphins-$5,900
Moore saved his fantasy day with a touchdown in Week 10 against the Buffalo Bills, but he has now scored in back-to-back games with 26 targets over the last four games since the Jets’ bye.
The Miami Dolphins’ defense has been downright dominant over its last two games. But they are still allowing the third-most FanDuel points to wide receivers this season (33.7 per game). Moore has been mostly immune to the Jets’ quarterback situation over the last three games, so it won’t matter if it’s Mike White or Zach Wilson on Sunday.
Moore could as easily catch two passes for 20 yards as he could seven for 100 and two touchdowns against the Dolphins. But at the $5,900 price point on FanDuel, I’ll bet on the upside scenario this week.
