Every NFL stadium ranked from worst to best
7. Lumen Field (Seattle Seahawks)
While Arrowhead is loud, the Seattle Seahawks have the 12th man. A stadium so loud, it measured on the Richter scale of earthquake measurements during Marshawn Lynch’s infamous beast quake run in the 2010 NFC Wildcard game against the New Orleans Saints.
Not only is the stadium the loudest in the NFL, it also has one of the best designs. The two arches that loom over top of the stadium, leaving a gap in the middle is a gorgeous look. The field is also flattering to the eye. The midnight blue end zones complimented by the team name and logo looks spectacular. The angry Seahawks head in the middle of the field is the perfect size, as well, and the turf’s shade of green minces perfectly with the gray and blue of the Seahawks color scheme.
It’s architecturally pleasing, colorfully pleasing, and easily one of the best stadiums in pro sports. It’s highly unlikely to ever host a Super Bowl due to its lack of roof. Seattle in February wouldn’t exactly be the most ideal place to play the most important game of the year, but goodness this stadium is excellent. Cheers all around for Lumen Field.
