Every NFL stadium ranked from worst to best

6. Allegiant Stadium (Las Vegas Raiders)

Mark Davis’ Death Star is a sight to behold. First of all, it sticks out like a sore thumb in the middle of the desert in Nevada. It looks like a spaceship crashed to Earth and hoped that if it didn’t move, no one would notice it. It would honestly make more sense for the NHL’s Arizona Coyotes to play at Allegiant because the stadium looks like a giant hockey puck.

I know it sounds like I’m mocking the design, but it is actually intimidating and the perfect representation of the Raiders.

The field itself is also gorgeous. I’m usually not a fan of lighter turf, but it actually works here. The black end zones with the words “Las Vegas” and “Raiders” painted on them are the perfect example of less being more, which again, is a perfect metaphor for the franchise that plays there. The same can be said about the midfield logo of the pirate head and shield.

While the stadium itself is over the top, the field is beautifully simple. The home of the silver and black is one of the best spectacles in football, and Vegas has a team that looks poised to keep winning.
