23. Nissan Stadium (Tennessee Titans)

This is another one of those stadiums where I don’t hate it, but there isn’t anything there that makes me love it. The layout of the seats is fine, I’m a big fan of open mezzanines. The colors are what Tennessee did get right here, it is absolutely vibrant. There’s a lot of blue, a lot of red- it sticks out in all of the positive ways.

The field, though, leaves a lot to be desired. It’s incredibly plain. No end zone colors, a tame-sized mid-field logo- there just isn’t a lot there that gets me excited. The outside is very well done, as are the seats, but the field itself is incredibly dull.  The Titans have one of the best color schemes in football, and they never utilize it correctly. They went with those weird navy blue jerseys and helmets over the bright blue.

For whatever reason, they don’t use that awesome bright blue to their advantage. Every other team does (ask the Chargers, it works). If they used that color to fill their end zones, Nissan Stadium jumps up the list. Unfortunately, they chose to be boring, so it’s a mediocre stadium at best.
