3. A.J. Dillon will get 20+ carries again

It’s possible that a changing of the guard is occurring at running back for the Packers. Aaron Jones is still the most explosive player in the Green Bay backfield, but A.J. Dillon is getting more and more carries as the season progresses.

The fact that he added a 50-yard reception to his totals last week only positions the former Boston College star for more and more work this week. Look for him to go over 20 carries again in an effort to bludgeon Minnesota’s front-seven into submission as the game chugs along.

The key for Dillon will be to make sure that he avoids negative plays. Grinding out 4 or 5 yards on every single carry is a great recipe for his success. Getting trapped behind the line of scrimmage is a good way for Dillon to end up in LaFleur’s doghouse this week.

Dillon isn’t going to hit the 100-yard rushing mark unless he breaks off an unlikely big run, but he’s still going to be Green Bay’s workhorse. Jones’ fantasy owners are in for another frustrating day at Dillon’s expense.
