Carlos Correa and A.J. Hinch apparently had breakfast together, according to a Twitter sleuth
A photo has made its way to Twitter of superstar free agent Carlos Correa having a meeting in Houston with Tigers skipper A.J. Hinch.
Everyone is waiting on bated breath to see where superstar slugger Carlos Correa lands next. After multiple unforgettable seasons with the Houston Astros, Correa looks all set to continue his career elsewhere. Could a move to the Motor City be in the works?
The Detroit Tigers are among the teams with high interest in landing his services. Well, a photo has made its way to Twitter that has Tigers supporters jumping with joy.
Carlos Correa and A.J. Lunch spotted together has MLB Twitter going nuts
What do we have here? A photo is making its way all over Twitter of Correa and former Houston manager A.J. Hinch, now with the Tigers, enjoying a meal together. While this could just be two friends catching up and discussing their offseason plans, this of course also looks like Hinch is selling Correa on all the things Detroit can offer him. MLB insider Jeff Passan confirmed the two met, but no deal is imminent.
Correa is without question one of the hottest free-agent targets out there, with several teams ready to battle it out to try and land his signature for a massive contract. The Tigers have already made plenty of noise this month after they signed lefty starter Eduardo Rodriguez to his big-time deal.
Now, they’ve shifted their focus to some offense, with Correa high on their list of targets. A decision from the hard-hitting shortstop doesn’t appear to be coming soon. With that said, Detroit figures to be in the race until he does make up his mind. Will Hinch help send Detroit over the top, or will a different team win the sweepstakes? We can’t wait to find out.
