Georgia football superstar JordanĀ Davis is a man of manyĀ talents, as he directed the marching band after his final game at Sanford Stadium.
As the Georgia football team improved to 11-0 on the year, the Dawgsā best player Jordan Davis took it all in by serving as the conductor to the marching band in what was his final game at Sanford Stadium.
Georgia has to play in-state rival Georgia Tech in Atlanta next Saturday. After that, the Dawgs will face presumably the Alabama Crimson Tide in the 2021 SEC Championship game. Given that Georgia is 11-0 on the year, a win over the Ramblinā Wreck of Georgia Tech will guarantee the Dawgs of their second College Football Playoff berth, regardless of what happens vs. Alabama.
Outside of football, Davis has a passion for music and there was nobody better to conduct the pep band on a most glorious Saturday afternoon Between the Hedges than Georgiaās All-American defensive tackle.

Davis was one of several draft-eligible players who could have turned pro after last season. However, the 6-foot-6, 340-pound defensive lineman from Charlotte decided he and Dawg Nation had some unfinished business to take care of. Davis will be a unanimous All-American and will likely clean up during awardās season. He even scored the first touchdown of his career Saturday.
No matter what happens in December and January, Georgia has had its best regular season since 1982. The Dawgs went 8-0 in SEC play, thanks in large part to their historically dominant defense. Teams rarely score on this bunch. This squad has been compared to the 1993 Florida State Seminoles and the 2011 Alabama Crimson Tide. Those two teams went on to win national titles.
Though Davis will never play another game in Athens, he made himself a legend playing in the Classic City in front of Dawg Nation.
